Depends on the system but most likely a implementation engineer will do a site survey of the location after the sales rep makes a sale of what ever the client wants. From that point a project manager and a detail engineer make arrangements to install the system by creating equipment delivery order and delivery dates, the engineer writes up a installation specification that gives detail instructions to the installation personnel how to install the system, power it, and cable it. Once all this is completed field engineers setup, configure and test the system for operation and red line the Spec for any changes that where made called the AS BUILT SPEC. Once everything is working it is handed over to the client.
